A restorative, waterless fusion of Japanese head spa and Indian head massage techniques. This rejuvenating ritual awakens the scalp, releases facial tension, and balances energy flow through targeted massage, pressure point stimulation, and mindful touch. The experience restores clarity, promotes deep relaxation, and leaves you feeling recharged, radiant, and renewed. • Gentle shoulder, upper back, and neck massage to release tension, similar to Indian head massage warm-ups. • The therapist uses firm but flowing movements to prepare the body and mind. • Scalp Focus (Dry Head Spa Simulation) • Instead of water-based cleansing, the therapist uses precise finger pressure, kneading, and rhythmic circular motions across the scalp. • Wooden or silicone scalp tools may be used to mimic the exfoliating/energizing sensation of a Japanese head spa. • Optional dry scalp brushing to stimulate circulation and give a "refreshing" effect. • Pressure Point Stimulation • Indian head massage techniques come in here: firm pressure on marma points (energy centres) along the scalp, forehead, and temples. • Gentle hair-pulling techniques may be used to relieve tension and increase blood flow. • Face & Temple Release • Small circular strokes on the temples, brow smoothing, and light acupressure around the eyes and jaw. • This echoes the facial relaxation aspect of Japanese head massage without water. • Optional Nourishment (No Rinse) • A few drops of lightweight rosemary oil massaged into the scalp (only if desired), left to absorb instead of being washed out. • This keeps the experience waterless while still offering nourishment. • A final neck and shoulder release, ending with a calming head strokes.
